Started as Chaurasia Chhatra Sangathan Patna in 1978 by a group of students studying in different colleges of Patna. The founder president Dr. Om Prakash Chaurasia, MD was a student of PMCH & founder Secretary Dr Phulendra Bhagat, MBBS student PMCH. The numbers. of members was round about 40 in initial stage.
Shri Satya Narayan Lal Accountant in Engineering College Patna was patron.
Chaurasia Lodge was started in December, 1978 by hiring a building at Bakarganj with accommodation of 06 students all from own community.
Sampurna Bihar Chaurasia Chhatra Kalyan Parishad came into existence in 1980 with Shri Jagnp Maheta as founder President & Dr Phulendra Bhagat as founder secretary. Bylaws of the organization was constituted by Shri Prakash Chandra Choudhary, the Lawyer at Patna, civil court and it was registered under society registration act in 1980. The registration no is 347/80-81.
The land 2000 sq.ft. was purchased in 1981 Gulbighat, Mahendru Mohall Patna-0 6 at a cost of 45000/ in 1981.
The map was designed by Shri Arun Kumar Chaurasia J.E. in P&T Dept. & assisted by Shri Brahm Dev Choudhary Jr.Engineer & Shri Yadunandan Prasad, Contractor Patna.
Foundation stone of Chaurasia Bhawan was laid by Shri Panna Lal Arya, Director Prabhat Zarda Factory Muzzaffarpur in Feb., 1983. The construction was supervised by Shri Yadunandan Prasad & Shri Ram Ekwal Prasad (custom dept.) Patna.
The Chaurasia Bhawan was inaugurated by Shri Awanti Lalji, Director Prabhat Factory Muzzaffarpur in 1985. Chaurasia Bjhawan Library named as Badri Naryan Mahto Library was inaugurated by Shri Sita Sharan Chaurasia, Patna in 1986. The construction’s work of Chaurasia Bhawan was completed in 1995. The building has currently a capacity of 60 beds, 04 Guest room, one Hall, Kitchen & one room for office.
Chaurasia Kalyan Magazine was started in 2001. At present it is bimonthly but shortly it is going to be a monthly magazine with 750 life members and Rs. 7 Lacs as fixed deposits.
Loan scholarship scheme for poor & intelligent student has been launched in year 2009. The fund raising activity is under progress and till date a corpus of. Rs. 3.30 Lac has been made- (Coutsey-Manoj Kumar आप चौरसिया भवन पटना मेन 1995-98 तक रहे हैं , +91 99016 88772)
